I’ll confess it – I wrote all of the information on sounding the letters of your Birth-Certificate Name without realizing the huge benefits thereof.
The wake-up call came when my beloved Persian cat Chloe, my companion of 17 years – died….and then my best friend Cathy also passed away a few short months later. I was no longer ‘talking’ constantly to Chloe, or having almost daily long distance phone conversations with my dear friend Cathy.
Gradually my speaking voice diminished to a weak, pathetic croak. In desperation I began reading aloud; I read poetry and a fun book of Spoonerisms – but nothing helped. Then I remembered the neglected sound frequency information for my own names:- the two “B’s,” (Letter B) the two “R’s,” (Letter R) and the three “A’s” (Letter A) in Barbara.
It couldn’t hurt to practice my own written suggestions, so I began with the sound frequencies of “Barbara” – my Personality Name, just to see what would happen. You realize of course that Barbara actually only has three different letters – B, A, and R. There are instructions for sounding all of the letters of the alphabet under “Sounding Your Own Name“. An additional idea for letter “B” is to utter an almost soundless but very deeply resonating “B” with almost closed lips; doing this resonated my throat, chest and the bones of my face.
And here’s that else I discovered about letter “B,” when you sound or speak “B” very rapidly – for instance: “beebeebeebeebeebeee,” it also sounds exactly like letter “P,” and visa-versa. You might say their energies and meanings are ‘nested’ within each other. And “B” and “P” (Letter P) are not the only letters that share or contain other letter sounds in names (more about that later).
The positive results of sounding my name were almost immediate and as long as I sounded these three letters (B/P, A and R from Barbara) in all possible ways as suggested in the “Sounding Your Own Name” link…..and created a few on the spot spontaneously for fun – my voice was restored to its natural strength and power. I soon added the sounds of my Middle Name “Joy” and finally my Last Name “Weston.” If I neglected to spend the first fifteen to twenty minutes of the morning in sounding my names, my voice reverted back for that day to being weak and raspy.
People with very long, complicated names need a different and modified approach….see next Post.
