(In reference to sounding these Letters – that is, the Letters in your own Birth Certificate names and particularly the Key letters – first read my Blogs: “The Importance of Sounding Your Own Name. Part 1.” and “The Importance of Sounding Your Own Name. Part.2.“)
A
(For an in depth meaning of Letter A )
To Begin Sounding A:
Make the more open “Ah” sound first – try it with your speaking voice several times and in several ways. Shout and yell it, then turn it into singing. Just let the tone flow and go it’s own way.
Now try “Aaahh, rah, rah, rah, rah, rah, rah, raaaaaaaaaaaaaah’s.” Vary the tone and the pitch according to your emotions. These sounds will resonate the nasal septum and at times you’ll seem to be singing from the corners of your eyes!
Then use ”A-e, aee, aee, aee, aee, aee, aee, aee, aaaaaaaaaaeeeei.” (The ‘i’ at the end is the ‘short-sound’ as in the word “it.”) Do several “Aeeei, – aeeei, – aeeei’s;” accenting the underlined letters and pushing each sound out of you with a contraction of the navel, singing them higher each time – finally, when you’re ready, finish by swooping the tone down.
The next variation: “Aaay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yay, yaaaaaaaaaaaeeee,” or extend the “Ae” sound with “Aaae-yay, aaae-yay, aaae-yay.” Take a breath and contract the navel with every “Aaae-yay.” The “Aaa” sounds like “hay.”
To activate and strengthen the Power Chakra at the navel:
Use short dissonant bursts of the same “a” sound as in “apple” or “at” – “Aa! aa! aa! aa! aa! aa!”
Then try short bursts of the same sound that’s in ”may” – “Ay! ay! ay! ay!” You can make the “Ay” quite piercing and high or low. Move the pitch around. Each time you voice one of these short sounds, push it out explosively by again contracting your belly at the navel. Should you start to feel considerable heat or vibration building up in the spine (directly behind the belly-button), it’s time to stop….you’ve built up enough energy for one session. This is also a good tummy toner, but watch out for tender muscles after the first few days of practice!
B
(For the in-depth meaning of Letter B )
To Begin Sounding B:
Have fun experimenting with the following sounds; speak or sing short bursts of “Buh! buh! buh! buh! buh!” and really push the sound out from the belly with a breath between each “Buh.” Make the ‘u’ sound as in “up.” At the same time contract your perineum/yoni and allow yourself to feel a mild bliss. Finish with a long sustained ”Baaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaah.”
Sing a rapid, continuous “Bub, bub, bub, bub, bub, bub, bub,” really feeling the relaxed sensuousness of your mouth each time you make the ‘b,’ then do a long “Baaaaaaaaaaaaab”at the end.
Then try the wonderful rolling sound of “Brrrrrrrrrah, brrrrrrrah, brrrrrrrah, brrrrrraah;” you roll the “Br” through your lips (instead of the usually rolled ‘r’ with the tongue behind the teeth.). To finish, clamp your teeth together and make a long sustained “Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.” Your lips will rapidly vibrate–sometimes juicily–as the force of the air blows through them…..yes, it’s exactly the sound you make when you’re feeling suddenly chilled, or the cold is finally ‘getting to you!’ Finally try: “Bee,bee, bee, bee, bee, bee, bee, bee, beeeeeeeeeeeeeeyuh.”
B is one of several letters in names that contain the sound of a second letter and that letter is P. When you’re rolling and buzzing letter “B” as suggested above, it can sound almost exactly the same as “P” – now try it with letter “P” and it can sound identical with “B.” If you have “B’s” in your names, also look up Letter P in “Letter Meanings” on the Alphabet drop-down Menu, it’s an ‘extra’ letter you should consider in understanding your personal name energy.
C
(For an in-depth meaning of Letter C)
Letter C does not have a ‘single’ sound for itself at all – it either sounds like S, (as in Cedric, Cecile, etc.) – or it sounds like K, (as in Cathy, Colin, etc.);. Again, if the “C” in you name sounds like “S” look up both “C” and Letter S under “Letter Meanings” – and do the same if your “C” sounds like Letter K. They give additional insights into your unique and particular “C” name. Oh – and ‘sound’ the extra C-sounds as well! For instance, you would sound “C” in addition to “S” (if your C sounded like S), and “C” as well as “K” (if your C sounded like K).
Begin with “See, see, see, see, see, see, see, see, seeeeeeeeeeeeeee” several times.
Then sing or speak “Kuh, (as in “cup”) kuh, kuh, kuh, kuh, kuh, kuh, kuh, kuh, kuh, kuh, kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.” Pull your belly button in strongly with the first four or five ‘Kuh’s.’ Feel the sound explode out of the back of your throat in little bursts. Then swoop up in a series of rapid “kuh’s” as you contract your perineum…(anus/yoni.)
In the final C sound, let yourself chug like an old fashioned steam train chugging with power, patience and determination up a steep grade: “Chuh, chuh, chuh, chuh, – ch,ch,ch,ch, ch, ch, ch, ch,”- (then let off a burst of steam) – “Chhhhh chhhhhhh”. Repeat until energized and delighted!
D
D’s ‘hidden’ and extra sound is T. It’s reminiscent of B and P - when you sound “De,de,de,de,” very rapidly and softly and then switch to “Te,te,te,te,” they are almost identical. Their relationship is more in their complimentary Energy Frequecies rather than their individual letter meanings.
Speak or sing “Deee, deee, deee, dee, dee, dee, dee, dee, dee, deeeeeeeeeeeeeeyuh;” also try “Deeeyuh, deeeyuh, deeeyuh, deeeyuh,” with a strong accent on the ‘dee’ and contract against the power center (navel), as you sound.
Now, do the same “Dee,dee, dee, dee, dee,” as above, but cover your ears and sound it several times very softly and gently, even lovingly…a love for yourself as well as others. Then take it softly and gently up several tones, until you’re satisfied with the inner effect.
Slowly at first, speak ”Duh!-duh!-duh!-duh!” several times, and with a navel contraction, finishing up with “Dah, dah, dah, dah, dah, dah, dah, daaaaaaaaaaahd.” Vary the tones and their intensity while sounding the extended ‘aaaaaaaaaaaahd.’
E
This letter is often difficlult to sound at first, because it represents our self _expression, so try “Eee, eeee, eeee, eeee, eeee, eeeeeeeeeeeeee;” then continue with ”Ee-yah, ee-yah, ee-yah, ee-yah, ee-yah, eeyah, eeyah, eeyah, eeyah, eeeeeeeeyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!”
Finishing up with, “Eey, yeey, yeey, yeey, yeeeeeeeeeeey;” and the very rapid “Eeyeeyeeyeeyeeyeeyeeyeey, yeeeee-eeeeeeeeeeee.”
The last extended ’yeeee’ always goes higher and higher — and higher!
Now more slowly and deliberately use the same short “e” sound as in the word “yes” and make “Eh, eh, eh, eh, eh, eh,” pulling the navel in with each sound. Sound-wise this is not easy–but persevere! Finally release it explosively (yet lightly) with short bursts of breath while you rapidly contract your diaphragm. Finish with a long drawn out, almost silent “eeeehhh,” the same sound as in “air.”
F
Slowly speak “Eff, eff, eff,” gradually making the ‘e’ longer (again, the same sound as in “air”) but with a strongly formed “ff” at the end of it – and at the same time, contract the navel while saying each syllable. Try and stress the soundless ‘ff’ at the end of each syllable. This is NOT an easy exercise to practice.
After developing some strength of tone with just speaking the “eff,” now try to sound/sing it. Begin with a comfortable low note and take it up higher. When sung, the “e” of course, seems to be all you can hear next to the silent “f.” The nature of the “e” however, enables the “f” energy to be released and expressed.
Now follow with a more rapid ”Ef,fef, fef, fef, fef, fef, fef, fef” for as long as you enjoy it.
Important Note: when you speak the letter “F” (as if you were formally reciting the alphabet), the actual sound you make is ‘ef.’ Whenever the vowel sound “E” precedes the voicing of a consonant in this way (as also in letters “L,” “M,” “N,” “S” and “X”), the energy becomes introverted and forces you to understand that particular consonant’s lesson in relationship to yourself – before you can express it outwardly in a positive and constructive manner.
G
This is a fun letter to play with – first speak the short form of “Guh! guh! guh! guh!” expelling the breath with the navel contraction; try it in different spoken pitches, then sing the longer form of “Gah, gah, gah, gah, gah, gah, gah, gah, gaaaaaaaaaaah.”
Now try using the ‘j’ sound of letter “G” – It’s one the the several letters that share the same sounds.
Use the playful sound of “Jee, jee, jee, jee, jee, jee, jeeeeeeeeeeh.”
Finally, make the ‘j’ sound of letter “G” with “Juh, (as in “jug”), juh, juh, juh, juh, juuuuuuuuuuuuuh.”
H
The two sounds of letter “H” are unusual in that one is incredibly complex, while the other is simplicity itself. The first one is “Huh” (or “Hah”) and relates to release-through-laughter, and the physical heart; the second “Aeech” (or “Aich”), is used when just reciting the letter formally as part of the alphabet or in spelling a word.
Difficult as it may be – try ”Aaeech, aaeech, aaeech, aaeech.” Speak and sing it slowly and mindfully. You can say it faster later by running it all together, then it sounds like ”Aaechaaechaaechaaechaaech!”
For the next exercise try lots of “Huh, huh, huh, huh’s.” Burst them out of you with little tummy contractions, then widen into a laughing sound ”Hah, hah, hah, hah, hah, haaaaaaauh” and see if a real laugh doesn’t eventually come out of you. Flow with the laughter and the feeling of the laughter. Very healing!
I
This is quite neat and fun – sound “iii…yie, yie, yie, yie, yie, yiiiiiiiieeee,” to your heart’s content!
Then use the same sound as in “sigh” singing “iiiee, iiiee, iiiee, iiiee, iiiee” – pause, take a deep breath and repeat several times with a breath-pause. Begin at a low note and after each breath-pause, take the tone up another note until you are singing as high as you can with power and clarity. Direct the attention and the feeling of the sound up high inside the head; eventually feel that the sounds are ascending to the Chakras above your head.
Finally, sing the “iiiee, iiiee, iiiee” quite rapidly in a continuous flowing line, then finish up with a long ”iiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeee.” Sing as many of these as you want to.
J
Begin with short bursts of the more closed “Juh, juh, juh,”then make several of the more open “jaja-jaaaah, jaja-jaaaah” (as in “car”).
Next, attempt the more ‘flattened’ ‘a’ sound (as in “say”) – “Jaaey, jaaey, jaaey, jaaaey.”
Also, try sounding not one tone–but two notes on “jaaey;” then sing it more quickly, “jayjayjayjayjay,” followed by “jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaey.”
Finish up with the almost glorious “Yah, yah, yah, yah, – ya, ya, ya, ya, – ya, ya, ya, ya, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaah” opening your mouth widely and stretching your chin and facial muscles as you sing – or shout!
K
Begin by singing all “Kay, kay, kay’s” followed by a long drawn out “kaaaaaaey” on the initial note, then repeat it if you can on successively higher notes until you’ve reached the limit of your range. Just relax into this and let your ordinary voice have a ‘work-out’ – you just might surprise yourself!
Then try it differently, sing “Kay! kay! kay! kay!” fairly slowly and with each “kay” contract your navel power center. Now make the notes more rapid with “Kay,kay, kay, kay, kay, kay, kay, kay, kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaey.” Do this as many times as you feel inclined.
Some more variations – use a rapid “Ki, ki, ki, ki, ki,” (sound the “I” as in “it”), while at the same time you execute a gradual perineum/yoni/anal contraction – at the end of which, it should be held in very tightly and strongly while you sound a final extended ”Keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.”
(You could argue that the “I” in “ki” sounds similar to the “E” in “eeeeee” and you’re partially correct; however, the “I” sound is much shorter and it’s also important to focus on the “I” energy)
Finally, the sexual life force is most strongly felt in the sound “Kah,” so using a slow and strongly held Perineum/Yoni/anal contraction begin to rap idly sound, “Kakakakakakakakakakakakakaaaaaaaaaa” with an ascending note. This sound begins quite gutturally at the back of the throat, and you sing up the scale with each “ka” – at the completion of the long note, you should be singing close to the highest note of your range, as though it’s coming out of the very top of your skull–while all the time contracting the perineum/yoni/anus. Relax, and repeat several times …and be aware of the bliss.
Last, and equally powerful, this one is highly reminiscent of the Australian Kookaburra’s bird call: “Kookookookookookookook,” which ends in an extended “Koooooooooooooo.” You can also alternate these two sounds in a call that is quite similar to a full throated Kookaburra laughing at the rest of the world — “Kookookookoo, kaakaakaakaa, kookookookoo, kaakaakaakaa.” While singing this, you make a rapid P/Y contraction (taking it up and down), for each change in the sound pattern.
L
Press your tongue (inside the mouth) on the hard palate–slightly above your top front teeth, while you sound “Lllllllah, lllllllah, lllllllah, lllllllah,” – (of course, lift the tongue up for the ‘ah.’) You will feel a strong vibration in the back of the throat that extends down into the thymus gland and sternum bone. Expand it further into “Lllllllah, lul, lul, lul, lul, lul, lul, laaaaaaaaaaaaah.”
For this one, use the same sound as in “tell:” ”Ellllll, elllll, elllll, ellll”- again, press your tongue on the hard palate to resonate the “L,” gradually speed it up with ”El, lel, lel, lel, lel, lellellellellell,” finishing with an extended “Eeeeeeeeeeeeelllll.” (The preceding “Eeeeeee…” sounds the same as in “air.”)
As already noted for letter “F” – if, in speaking the letter by itself, an “e” vowel sound preceeds it, (in this case you have “el”), the energy becomes introverted to make you understand that particular consonant energy before you can express it efficiently. The following letters “M” and “N” also fit into this category, as do “S” and “X,” e.g…”eM,” “eN,” “eS,” “eX”.
M
This letter is one of the ‘resonators’ and depending on how you use your teeth, which notes you sing, or if you deliberately change the cavity of the mouth……..the resulting sound will resonate in different parts of the body like a massage. See where you can feel it….in the brain, skull, thymus, heart, chest cavity. Excellent for health!
Now, press the teeth together on the “Mmmm” and sound a series of “Mmmm-mah! mmmmm-ah! mmmmm-aaah” quite slowly and deliberately, opening the mouth for the “mah,” followed by: “Mma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma……maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.”
Try the next one slowly and emphatically, “Emmm, emmm, emmm, finishing with “Eeeeeeeeeeeeemmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmm” (make the ‘eee’ sound, as in “Emmy” or “air”).
N
Another letter prefixed by “e” – see note above for letter “M.”
Use the same sound as in “end” – “En, en, en, en, eeeeeeeeeee, eennnnnnnnnnn,” (the long ‘eee’ sounds like “air” and for the ‘nnnn’ at the end, the teeth are together with the sound resonating against them).
Sound the “N” as a simple resonator with the ‘intention’ of bringing about balance (if you feel something in your life needs to come into balance). The “N” energy when balanced – brings balance!
The tongue presses behind the top front teeth and you’ll be aware of a strong drone between the ears, as well as on the nasal septum and in the skull bones on the back of the head. Make the sound continuous for as long as the breath extends, “Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.” Take it through a series of sliding, gliding highs and lows. Let the sound ‘sound’ you.
O
Because “O” governs emotions, you will feel and even dredge up a whole slew of different emotions by sounding it. Be prepared for this – retire to a spare room with tissues and possibly a pillow to hug. Let the power of this sound heal your hidden and known emotions. Tears are no disgrace, they release and cleanse.
After speaking the “O” in a variety of ways (meanwhile noting and feeling the emotions as they arise), now sing a series of long drawn-out “O’s” – when that satisfies, or surprises you add a “w” as in “ow, wow, wow, wow.” See where that leads you – think of a dog howling to the moon – and let yourself go into it!
To finish, deliberately change your mood and change your “O’s” both spoken and sung — into ecstasy and delight. “Ooh, ooh, ooh, oooh….ooooooh……ooooooooh, OH!!
P
Think of calmness and peace with this letter, Sit quietly for a moment and take some deep breaths (even if the only place you can escape to is the toilet)! Now discharge by gathering the energy and pushing out strongly from the diaphragm, “Puh! puh! puh! puh!” It’s the same “u” sound as in “cup.” let there be a pause between “Puh’s.” Do several and focus on releasing all the stored emotions in your gut and expanding yourself outward into Peace. Then speak and sing them more gently, evenly and quietly.
Softly sing “Peee, peee, peee, peee, peeeeeeeeeeeee” and feel you’re expressing Peace inwardly to yourself and outwardly to others.
P is one of several letters in names that contain the sound of a second letter and that letter is F. You’ll find it in names in which P is combined with “h” as in “Philip,” “Phillis,” “Philoma” and in Last names such as “Phelps.” When this occurs in your name, you need to sound the “F” in addition to the silent “P” and study the meaning of it under “Letter Meanings” because you will also find applications of that energy by virtue of “F” being the leading sound in your “P” name.
Q
Q does not possess it’s ‘own’ sound: when you say “Q” in a name – you are actually saying “K” – so, as above – the sound of “K” dictates that you equally practice the sounds of letter “K” and also study the significance of that letter under “Letter Meanings” applying it to your name and life in addition to the meanings of “Q.”
To practice begin with “Quooo, quooo,” (same sound as in “queue” — to wait in line), “Quoo, quoo, quoo, quoo, quoo, quooooooooooooo.”
This may feel and sound a tad weird, but stay with it watch the memories and any emotions that emerge. Keep sounding until the sounds become more forceful, resonate and powerful. If the inside of the throat feels almost blocked – as though an enormous residue of energy and potential struggles there – it may well be so. Ask yourself mentally what those potentials are? Keep sounding until the throat and tone flows freely and openly….it may take hours, days or even weeks of daily persistence. Or it could happen in an instant.
Further work for “Q” —- ”Qwah, qwah, qwah, qwah, qwaaaaaaaaaaaah, qwah, qwah, qwah, qwah, qwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, qwaqwaqwaqwaqwaqwaqwaqwa. qwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!”….and any spontaneous, playful versions that want to be expressed.
R
Use “Ree, ree, ree, ree, ree, ree, ree, ree, reeeeeeeeeeeeeeee” in several tones until you get a good rolling resonance in the upper sinuses and frontal skull bones; deeper tones will also resonate and vibrate the chest area and higher tones will stimulate the 3rd Eye and Crown Chakras. After you feel you’ve had enough resonance, close your eyes and breathe very softly, taking your awareness deeper inside you.
Now focus on sounding “Ahrr, ahrr, ahrr, ahrr, ahrr, ahrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr” and roll your “R” vigorously…..particularly if you’re frustrated and angry. Also, swoop the roll both up and down in pitch.
Next, say and then roar – and then sing “Rah, rah, rah, rah, rah, rah, rah, rah, raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah,” and feel your inner power. Repeat several times and as you gather force with each sounding find the most powerful tone and stay on it.
S
Here is the remarkable letter that not only looks like a snake – but sounds like a snake!
Also another “e” prefix sound. “Esss, esss, esss, esss, eessssssssssssssssssss.” The “e” sounds the same as in “essence.” For the “ssss,” really push it out of you forcibly, like a powerful hiss. The “e” prefix sound must also be included in the meaning of S. When you look up “E,” aspects of it’s meaning (under the “Letter Meanings”on the Header Menu Bar) will be found to apply to the “S.”
In this exercise, sound ”Saah, saah, saah, sssssssssaaaaaaaah – saah, saah, saah, ssaaaaaah,” “saah, saah, saah, saah, saah, saah, saah, saah, and finishing with sssssssssssssssssssss-aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.” Finally, combine it with an H and you get an entirely different ”Shhhh” sound (as in Shirley, Shawn, etc). Although the “H” is a written-part of Shirley and Shawn, it is however “silent” but still must be sounded separately (refer to sounding instructions for letter “H” on this Page) and additionally – study the “H” meaning under “Letter Meanings” it has a particular relevance to being combined with “S.”
T
This is essentially a ‘grounding to your core’ exercise. It’s for frazzled nerves and airy-fairyness!! And it’s almost a guttural pant – “Tuh! tuh! tuh! tuh! tuh! tuh! tuh!” while you contract your navel power center to each separate sound. Then start at your lowest most powerful note and gradually raise the tone with each ‘tuh.’
Next repeatedly sound “Tah, tah, tah, tah, tah, tah, tah, tah, taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.” Do this quite rapidly over and over and feel the energy change in parts of your head and skull.
Another one you can do fast and slow, but eventually make it very slow…. “Tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh, tuh – tuh – tuh – tuh — tuh –tuh — tuh —- tuh – taaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh.”
To end, sing the following forcibly “Tee, tee, tee, tee, tee, tee, tee, tee – tee, tee, tee, tee, tee, tee, tee, tee, teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee,” raising it up to a high pitch at the end and pushing the “eeee” sound out strongly as you contract your belly.
U
Speak/sing this in short bursts, pushing the sound out with each “U”as you contract the belly “Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh;” it’s the same sound as in “up”……finish with a long extended “uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh” ….same sound as in “are.”
The other sound for “U” is how it’s recited in the alphabet; it begins with the “Y” sound—-”Yoo, yoo, yoo, yoo, you, yoo yoo, — yoo, yoo, yoo, yoo, yoo, yooooooooooooooooooooo.” Take the pitch up and down in a wide arc of sound during the last long sound – and for each of the short preceding “yoo’s” accompany with a short perineum/yon/anal contraction.
V
This letter cannot avoid addressing vision, personal vision and long term vision for humanity.
Speak/sing with strength and conviction – “Vah!–vah!–vah!–vah!” Sound several times as suggested then try it more quickly, “Vah, vah, vah, vah, vah, vah, vah, vah, vaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.” Also, attempt to vibrate the “V” as you speak or sing it while holding your top teeth against the bottom lip: “vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvuh.”
Now try ”Vee, vee, vee, vee, vee” several times. Push the tone out with each “v”while simultaneously contracting and relaxing your solar plexus/navel — then sing it much faster while holding one steady, long contraction at the navel. “Vee,vee, vee, vee, vee, vee, vee, vee, veeeeeeeeeeeeeee.”
W
Fascinating and complex energy!
And Yes – more complex than letter “H” (“Aech” when spoken formally), the pronunciation for “W” in the alphabet presents quite a mouthful, “dah-bullyoo!” or as some say: – ”da-bullyah.
Become a friendly or aggressive dog with “Wuh, wuh, wuh, wuh.” Make the sounds slowly and again with strong contractions in the navel center….for as long as the sounds want to come.
Then change to – “Wwooh! wwooh!, wwooh!” and really purse your lips creating a strong physical feeling in the muscles of your face as you more forcefully create the letter. “W.” Strengthen you face muscles!
Finally sing “Woowoowoowoowoowoowoo, woooooooooooooh.’ (Do you think of an owl?) Also make a “W” with closed lips, hold the position and then let yourself sound like a siren.
“Wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww wwwwwwwwuh.”
Is all this below your dignity? If so, you could try to soften your pride.
X
Since it’s a fairly unique energy, you’ll find the “X” also proves itself uniquely difficult to sound.
Begin by pulling the belly in (and then relax….in -relax, in -relax) with each “Exs” sound. Do it quite slowly, intentionally and as strongly as you can, “Exs – exs – exs – exs,” then sound it a little faster. You’ll find if you go really fast you are sounding “Sexs, sexs, sexs!”
And, of course, if you do that, you may find a smile on your face. You’re now partaking of the sensual nature of the “S” sound and this may not be an amusing quirk of the alphabet at all–sex may well be a good solution for excessive mental compulsion…which can be a problem for some “X’s.”
Y
The alphabet sound for “Y” is “Wie,” implying that the additional sounds may also be part of the “Y” energy – which is correct….as with other multi-sounded letters. But for now we are working primarily with the tones themselves – not the mundane meanings.
Sing as loudly and strongly and triumphantly as you dare — “Yah, yah, yah, yah, yah, yah, yah, yah, yah, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!”
Then sing/speak “Wi-ee, wi-ee, wi-ee, wi-ee, wi-ee, wi-ee,” (the ‘wi’ sound is the same as in “wild”). You’ll feel an interesting resonant drone issuing from the “i.”
Finally sing an extended “Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie.” The sound for the “iiiii” is the same as in “Sigh.”
Z
Beginnings and endings often interconnect. The end of the alphabet “Z” and some of its challenges, also relates back to letter “A.” Similarly, while you’re dealing with “Z,” it would also benefit to occasionally practice some of “A’s” sounds.
Speak “Zzzah! zzzah! zzzah! zzzah!” with strong navel/belly contractions (get that power center activated)! Resonate the ‘Zzz’ sound forcibly behind your teeth before you release into the ‘ah!’ Finally try and sing it.
Also sing “Zeee, zeee, zeee” several times, doing the navel-press to each spurt of sound.
Finish with some long combinations –
“Zzah, zzah, zzah, zzah, zzah, zzah, zzah, zzah, zzzzzaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!” and ”Zzee, zzee, zzee, zzee, zzee, zzee, zzzzzzeeeeeeeee!”
