Letter F

Proud, dramatic, ostentatious, magnetic; born with “gambler’s-blood;” showy, brilliant, famous, attention-getting, daring, challenging, insistent, boastful…or shy, modest and retiring. Also, it’s being justifiably proud of one’s achievements in a positive way.

The Sixth Letter of the Alphabet. Energy Frequency No. 6. – (including matrix suggestions and my own musings) The continuing flow of ancient human evolution through our genetic DNA (the ancient ‘womb’ of creation’ with a possible Anunnaki lineage) and the potential for innovative and transformative change.  (How this relates to “F” the 6th Letter will be discussed under “Letter-Number Table 6.”- on the Header Menu Bar – yet to be added.)

The “F” energy acts as though Spirit wants to prod the rest of us out of our complacency. It often brings in a force to change the evolutionary flow – to “wake us up” with new activities, inventions, attitudes and ways of doing things, hopefully to make us think about our own lives – how we might make them more exciting, distinctive and productive.

In the “F” ranks stand the builders and changers of society; they bring harmony, beauty, pleasure and invention; many have forever changed the face of Western society and the world.

From a long list of “F” luminaries, I mention only three:

Faraday who created the electromagnet.

Ford who gave us the first assembly-line car.

Florence Nightingale, who pioneered nursing (on the front-line) during the Crimean War of 1853-6.

Generally, “F’s” have a reputation for being very friendly and likable, often displaying ‘something’ for public scrutiny, such as a commodity they’ve personally created, (many years ago, my cousin Alec Fernie became an engineer and built a spectacular bridge over the Swan river in Perth, the capital of Western Australia), or they attract attention with their sunny ebullience – like the famous and unfortunate ex-Royal Duchess, Fergie…although she did create a wonderful children’s book – and is now quite ‘respectable!’

“F’s” tend to place themselves deliberately, and sometimes unintentionally in the public eye – forcing a self-confrontation about their personal value. The more modest “F’s” may play down their accomplishments, a part of them saying, “Please don’t notice me, I’m not sure I measure up to all this attention!” (Note unassuming actor, Harrison Ford.)

On the subject of personal display, some drastic (over-or-under) “F” dressers, like to hold the world in contempt while using dress to accentuate their superiority!  Then again, other “F’s” really enjoy looking gorgeous and dressing outrageously – just for the fun of it!  (Add letter “B” and you get the beautiful bodied Fabio!) Also, there’s Michael Flatley – breathtaking Irish step-dancer of Lord of the Dance fame, and self-confessed “world’s greatest living dancer!”

When “F” combines with “R,” there’s either a negative or positive display of verbal skills bringing a curious mix of magnetic charm and powerful insistence - if they can’t captivate you, they may end up shouting you down!

Most “F’s” love competition and want to be the “best of the best,” often defining themselves by the dramas they create, or they define society by creating dramas for the public.  Example: film director Francis Ford Coppola….and all the past and present actors and actresses with “F” in their names!

Extra “F’s” in a name increase the need to dramatically display something as well as be challenged by pride and fame. The additional “F’s” stimulate ambition, without which, things of great importance (and useful to others) may never be developed.  Some need courage to make themselves bring out the new and original, yet others have all the drive in the world and want the glory of being first! “F’s” draw their ranks from the faint-hearted as well as the lion-hearted!

Balanced “F:” can appear both modest and justifiably proud of themselves; secure in their singularity, they bask in the visibility and hoopla without being egotistically attached to it; they also encourage motivation, pride and achievement in others.

Some mystically inclined “F’s” become spiritual teachers and exemplars, yet still retain an understanding of worldly ambitions and distractions, thus, instead of (permanently) retreating from the world, they teach us how to operate from the center of Spirit while remaining powerfully active in society.

Unbalanced “F:” may suffer from self-destructive arrogance; others, with a flair for risk-taking, become addicted to gambling.  And there are those who enjoy being the center of negative attention; the ones who love to flaunt traditions often deteriorate into scathing smart-alecks.  Cuttingly-witty, smug, shocking, and nonchalant, they feast themselves (and even earn their living) on the public’s reactions to their words and actions.

Weak “F’s” endure shyness, insecurity, shame and withdrawal; they desperately need encouragement to create a sense of pride in themselves.  Sometimes, whether justified or not, the “F” lesson takes the form of public disgrace and humiliation!

When “F” is in YOUR NAME: it’s how you judge your personal achievements and strengths; how you compare your personal achievements and strengths with others.

SUMMARY: often an irrational need to prove themselves; foolhardy; brave, risk-taking; courageous; encouraging; serving others with innovative ideas; proud – or humble.
