Letter B

The body, the senses and the psychic senses; pleasure, delight, wonder; overindulgence, serious excesses – or fear of pleasure, especially sex and food.  Money issues.

The Second Letter of the Alphabet.  Energy Frequency No. 2.(including matrix suggestions and my own musings) The electrical physical energy governing nerves, spinal chord, brain, eyes, (3rd-Eye), pineal gland; the flowing, ecstatic, blissful feeling-sense; the Water aspect of the Holy Spirit. (How this relates to “B” the 2nd Letter will be discussed under the “Letter-Number Table 2.” on the Header Menu Bar – yet to be added.)

“B” has two polarities: the mystical (religious, healing, empathetic) and the hedonistic (enjoyment, pleasuring-seeking, sense-indulgence).

Beneath these extremes rests the foundation of the body’s sensing apparatus – how we see, taste, smell, touch, and hear; these reflect our original child-like wonder at life and all its beauty.  We perceive and enjoy everything through this sensory mechanism which also connects us to the interdimensional realities. “B’s” embody and exemplify sensory awareness and can teach the means of expansion to others, depending on their needs.

Some “B’s” initial curiosity (about this sensory input) expands into a desire to extend life, to transform the species – even to becoming immortal!  Furthermore, because the outer senses connect to the expanded psychic senses, there often arises a fascination with a number of esoteric practices and interests such as: interdimensional realms, religious mysticism, out-of-body travel, remote viewing, the feasibility of life after death, reincarnation, near death experiences.

On the other end of the spectrum you have the skeptical “B’s” who fear, ridicule and reject such things!

Along with heightened emotional responses, some “B’s” own greatly expanded physical senses which augment their normal sight, touch, taste, hearing and smell.  These, the “empaths” are mostly unwittingly sensitive to the feelings and physical overloads of other people.  First, they notice just certain persons, situations and locations that always induce uncomfortable effects in them – then they realize larger gatherings make them feel even worse!  Many “B” sensitives end up shunning crowds simply out of self-protection.  Knowing exactly how others feel emotionally and exactly where they hurt physically can begin as a curse, but end up as a gift – a gift and a ‘calling.’  These empathetic “B’s” eventually balance their people-discomfort by becoming healers, counselors and psychic advisers; the formerly unwanted sensory input is simply ‘information’ which vanishes as soon as acted upon (with healing thoughts, words and actions).

Usually, all “B’s” are strongly physical and strongly emotional with several levels and combinations of the two. The happiest ones remain naturally grounded, direct, practical, “earthy” and often bullishly stubborn; they show a guiltless delight in the pleasures of the senses, with a joyous, natural lust for life! (The owners of a successful gourmet chocolate company in our town have five “B’s” in their combined names!!)  ”B” also has a connection with the voice and throat – the part of us that opens to receive and give nourishment.  Some are good singers and speakers and others create or appreciate art and music.

The “B” energy in names, usually indicates physical and sensual lessons and the challenge to develop the unrealized super-sensory and mental capacity latent within the human species.  However, when a name contains more than one “B” (and the person is inclined towards the mystical), they no longer see themselves and others as isolated; their own sense of personal embodiment expands into a World-Body awareness and they inspire others with a vision of universal consciousness that springs from a greater “Cosmic Body of Mankind.”

Balanced “B’s:” are the essence of joy and delight, they know they are part of all the life on this planet and feel a need to maintain its fragile equipoise. They cherish the earth and delight in the family of mankind – like the charismatic speaker and author on love and human connectedness, Leo Buscaglia (famous for hugging his entire audience after each lecture!).  Balanced “B’s” also know that money is nothing more than energy, an energy that needs to be skillfully used and enjoyed – rather than hoarded or feared.

Unbalanced “B’s:” biggest bugaboos are food, sex and money.  The overindulgent ones love decadence and lack responsibility for the effect their lifestyle has on mind and body.  Example: the late, talented British actor Sir Richard Burton, who had a serious drinking problem – and also really loved the ladies!

Those in the opposite extreme (who fear pleasure), escape by retreating into self-denial or ascetic practices.

Weak “B’s:” passively or stubbornly embrace defeat (give up too easily) and remain at the mercy of their fluctuating emotional and physical states and cravings; mentally they tend to jump-to-conclusions (habitually assuming), instead of waiting for all of the facts, and very often suffer from throat blocks!

When “B” is in YOUR NAME: it’s how you allow and experience personal pleasure – how you sensually receive, reject or ignore people and the world around you.
