LETTERS IN A NUTSHELL

Below is a brief, fun taste of the practical and profane meanings of the letters of the alphabet - a tongue-in-cheek beginning, with a hint of the truth followed by an in depth investigation of each individual letter.…….for that, return to “Letter Meanings” on the Header Bar and select from the drop-down menu for the individual Alphabet Letters.

A

is looking at myself in the mirror and saying “You’re the Greatest, you can do anything and be anything you want!”

“I am the Master of my fate, I do what I decide to do.”

B

is eating ice cream and chocolate cake – having a good massage, or sex, or something just as delectable, without feeling guilty.

“I marvel at the magic of life, I dance, I play, I taste, I enjoy.”

C

is going to seminars and classes, asking millions and millions of questions, or reading books for years and years – like Joseph Campbell, who then wrote:

“The Hero With a Thousand Faces. Everything I need to know – a part of me already knows; I open the door to my Infinite Knowing.”

D

is holding back, I’m a tad reserved, but I really do know my stuff and if you touch upon my field with any intelligence, I’ll really open up!

“I am my own authority – I’m completely self assured.”

E

is bewitched by words….written words, spoken words; writing words, speaking words, understanding other minds.

“I ‘listen’ to my inner voice – to understand how others think, It whispers me the perfect words, The ones that others want to hear.”

F

is knowing without a doubt….I have every right to be proud of myself!

“I’m always the best that I can be – and you can be the same; Please shine your gifts for us to see, don’t hide your Light away!”

is working very hard and loving every minute, then knowing when to stop and rushing off to PLAY!!!

“Work, work, work – the day is just too short! Remind me to relax, and go and smell the flowers.”

H

is saying with shining eyes, “I am totally committed, totally determined, and absolutely certain of fortune, fame, success!”

“I dream my dreams, I see my future, I patiently work, it will all come true!!

is loving the footlights, the fans, the acclaim, the unutterable joy of performing again!

“I need your attention, please look at me now; I have something to share, to impart and to show.”

is “jousting at windmills” and planning to save humanity….but meanwhile, that trip out of town (out of state, overseas), looks pretty enticing!

“Wherever I am, Justice moves me and calls me, But only in Joy, will my actions bear fruit.”

is never being able to hide from my sexual energy – that radiant, vibrant charisma! I love it – I hate it!  My Phoenix has to fly!

“My strength of will shall never fail, I forge through life with fearless passion.”

is loving the party, the people, the crowd and best of all, loving myself!

“I’m tactful, I’m charming, I work with the people, They teach me my lessons – they show me the way.”

M

is keeping extra busy, but always thinking how good it would be to build that snug nest and my own family!

“The perfect love and home are always on my mind, But first I need to find myself and then the rest I’ll find.”

N

is declaring  ”No more, no way, no way!  I won’t be used and criticized, I like the way I am!!”

“When I say ‘No,’ that’s exactly what I mean, And I’m not the service doormat, that up ’til now you’ve seen.”

O

is sitting on the bed and holding my stuffed animal Care Bear and knowing I am hugging myself!

“I am complete within myself, I love and take care of me.”

P

is keeping serene and together, when the rest of the world has gone mad!

“At peace within when the outer tempest rages, I serenely watch the storm.”

Q

is outsmarting, out-thinking and outmaneuvering everyone, because I’m so darned curious and clever – and besides, they just can’t keep up with my pace!

“Life is my conquest my daring encounter, and all of its answers are mine to discover!”

R

is remaining in my own mental world.  There’s so much going on in my head I’m never really lonely, but watch out…I’ll argue if you challenge my ideas!

“I no longer have to be ‘always right’, I open my mind for a wider opinion.”

S

is success – with my feet on the ground and working each day; yet sometimes I know I’m incredibly sensual (but no one suspects), my public image is so impeccable!

“I am well paid and recognized, for the work I love to do, And my inner sensuality empowers me through and through.”

T

is having too much sensitivity for my own comfort.  Whether I like it or not I seem to be this sponge for other people’s thoughts and emotions.

“My intuitive knowings and feelings, bring insights to help those around me.”

U

is opening my arms to the whole wide world and wishing I could give everyone exactly what they wanted to make them happy!

“I need to give and help, to get the action going, and as I open up, my universe starts flowing.”

V

is having my vision for changing the world and knowing I was born for a very special task!

“In spite of the overwhelming chaos in the world, I will keep my vision, I will do my work.”

W

is rushing energetically, showing off dramatically, being shameless, proud and pushy!  I’m sunny and warm on the outside, but inside, I carry a secret part.

“I wear a mask of pride my fearful child to hide; I must dare to feel the pain, and face my vulnerable side.”

X

is having a million interests and not enough hours in the day to keep up with them all!

“I discipline my thoughts and focus on my purpose; My mind in perfect balance, all frantic-ness at rest.”

Y

is needing to do things exactly my way.  Just once in a while I’ll step back and let some one else do it their way – but do I have to?

“I follow the beat of a different drum, I work the best when I’m in charge; but it’s time for me, to relax my stand, And allow my views to be enlarged.”

Z

is taking responsibility for everything happening in my life.  When Fate opens the door, I walk right in and say “Thank you, Me!”  When Fate shuts the door I say:

“Obviously I have decided on something better! My life’s an adventure, a glorious game, and my name contains the master key.”
