Rose Crystal Meditation Part 3

Certain methods that activate the head Chakras also come with caveats. These mostly concern traditional practices that raise the Kundalini (the sleeping Primal Force coiled in the Root Chakra)…and take the energy up the spine to and ultimately through the Crown.

Under the Links to Breath and Energy Exercises, the techniques found there reflect Tibetan, Taoist and Christian Mystical practices in which the “upper-powers” are brought into the body recharging the Chakras in a downward flow and grounding through the feet. Therefore the practice always has a stable base.

At the moment, we are working through the head Chakras with the energy of Infinite Love – which has its natural base in the Heart Center. However, we are not approaching this from an equal footing.  Some of us are experienced mediators in other systems, with already active channels; also, some of us bring to the practice karmic experiences that cause our head Centers to respond differently.

Accordingly:

While practicing the integrated ‘vacuum-breathing’ (just covered in Part Two), should you begin to feel distinctly over stimulated in the head – it means you’re not grounding the energy through your feet.  This is necessary to balance the input from the Crown….and will correct the discomfort.

Sometimes, if your feet are already activated:

You’re enjoying the meditation, nothing’s uncomfortable; then suddenly your feet “pop” open all by themselves – in one second flat they’re now all tingly and hot!  The energy has flushed through your hands and head into your heart, then raced to your feet and into the earth – spontaneous grounding!

Once we actuate the Infinite Love energy in ourselves, we need to be reconnected to the earth AS that energy.  Here’s the next and most important task — to make certain the mini-Chakras on the bottoms of your feet are alive and kicking!

GROUNDING INFINITE LOVE

1)  Sit on the floor comfortably with your back against something and remove your shoes and socks.  We’re looking for the most potent spot on the bottom of the foot where the grounding-Chakra actually is!

2) Grasp a foot with both hands. It’s important how you position the hands – place the thumbs on top, side by side and immediately behind the highest part of the instep – or even on top of its pointy bone…(If you trace that protruding bone down, you’ll find it belongs to your big toe.)  Are your thumbs in place?

3) Now for your fingers underneath the foot.  You can use either one or two of your strongest fingers, the first or the middle – or both of them together.  As with the thumbs, the fingers of both hands must be close together, touching each other and pressing hard into that spot directly under the bone above, where the thumbs are giving leverage.

(You’ll feel a thick ‘gristly’ area with a marked sensitivity.  It doesn’t hurt per se – but you definitely know you’ve “hit the spot!” Once discovered, you’ll find it again with ease and with only one finger.)

4)  Massage that “potent’ area with a circular pressure – really register it’s presence on both feet. Then, with some vigor, individually slap the bottom of each foot.  (Relax to register how this feels – now stand up and walk around – and experience your feet as sensory organs for the first time.)

Occasionally you’ll find ‘brain-dead’ feet on some people, but usually the rest of their bodies also seem unable to respond. Often found in the overly ‘head-orientated’ intellectual or scientific individual, or absent for other more subtle karmic reasons.  Suggest working with the Rose Crystal Infinite Love meditation along with twice daily stimulation of the feet-Chakras.

Finally, for the most part, your feet will do their typical ‘thing’ – grounding whatever energies you happen to be playing with.  And although they’re our primary “dischargers,” they also share the same function as hands, feet can receive as well as send.  So don’t be startled when you actually feel vibrations entering them for a change!

ENERGY DOWNLOADS

You’ll know that the Inner Heart has come alive when you start to experience energy “downloads.” They arrive in several variations, the two most common:

1) A noticeable build up of heat in the middle of the chest – spreading to fill the entire torso.  (Can be rather alarming the first time!)

2) A sudden, or growing awareness of pulsing energy (medium to intense) descending through the Crown, spreading throughout the body and centering in the chest.

(Either of the above separate phenomenon can expand to incorporate the other….a double whammy!)

Initially, downloads show up completely at random – when doing daily chores, in the middle of an exercise or Yoga routine (usually not while shopping or conducting formal business – thank goodness!….. although you could always bolt for the toilet!), and generally when meditation is farthest from your thoughts, although not always.  They’re a sign your body is beginning to integrate the the Inner Heart energies.  Rather than be alarmed – be reassured!

You’re almost compelled to pause if you’re doing dishes or in mid-exercise. Best seek a chair and consciously ‘take-in’ the downloads with your breathing……really, you have no choice!

It almost teaches you how to do this. The frequencies entering you will generate enough force to change your normal  breathing pattern. You’ll feel the breath almost “dumping” the energy (at times even charged with bliss) directly into the heart.

This new pattern could be described as ‘panting’ – although we think of panting as short and regular. This is regular, but in a different way.  Imagine a large dog on a summer’s day, sitting in the shade with its tongue hanging out, panting to adjust its temperature. It’s not what you’ll be doing – but it’s a comparison!

When Downloads Commence:

1)  The mouth (mostly) remains closed and the breath deepens.  In a typical breath, a large amount of air automatically draws into the middle of the chest (entering quite rapidly – it’s the way the body handles and incorporates the energy), then expels with some force through the nose – somewhat reminiscent of snorting.

2) It’s a deep and measured breath with its own rhythm – the very opposite to rapid, shallow panting.  Here’s the nearest I can describe it: take an approximate half-second IN-breath, followed by a forcible half-second or longer OUT- breath.  This keeps repeating with it’s own variations until the download comes to an end.  Expect it to last from 5 to 10 minutes, although one usually doesn’t clock-watch such experiences!  Afterwards you’ll feel quite energized yet relaxed.

With further development, bliss and energy downloads can be consciously directed into other key areas, such as “The Sacred Triangle”(the fuzed bones forming the sacral area of the spine), the Navel and the Throat Center.

THE NEXT ENERGY ADVENTURE

At some point, usually when meditating with the Rose Crystal image, you’ll find yourself distracted by an inordinately large IN-breath, followed by a forcible exhalation….or even two or three such breaths.  It marks the presence of Tahora the Whale Spirit, calling you to receive (or if you’ve already received, reminding you to use) a completely new and subtle energy. This energy has been kept in trust by Whale consciousness for use at this time.

And meanwhile, practice applying the Rose Crystal breathing in your everyday life.  Being now grounded as the Infinite Love energy, you have a new responsibility  - to breathe that Love into everything!

HERE’S HOW YOU DO IT

Intention is everything – also the direction of the breath has to be altered.

1) You’ll still be aware at least initially, that your hand and head sensors are ‘receiving’ as you inhale – but the new direction is to project the energy immediately from the heart with the exhalation.

2) To be more precise, instead of the OUT-breath being directed into your own heart (as per the initial instructions), you’ll  breathe OUT to others, to places, to rooms, to situations, photographs, newspaper articles….. and to sundry things that you’d normally condemn or complain about.

Little by little and more and more, you’ll remember to choose a different way of ‘being’ in the world.

When the true intelligence of every action is coming from the Inner Heart instead of the conditioned intellect – then the Jewel is truly in the Lotus – Om Mani Padme Hum.
